Setting Up Contract Level Meetings

Contract level meetings are those that deal with the contract and relationship with the vendor.

To establish the scope of your contract level meeting look to your contract and check the deliverables expected monthly, quarterly and annually.

Your agenda should include service levels, deliverables, escalations from operations meeting, invoice submission and relationship status and risk.

Invite those who are responsible for getting the contracts set up in your business. You will also need a view of how the contract is performing from an operational perspective so you will need an operations representative.  Operational reporting should be at executive level. Invitees should also include the management team who are responsible for the area.

Aim to meet your vendor for contract level meetings once a month.

The contract level meetings will continue to develop the relationship with the vendor and will also call out any relationship issues or contractual issues that could have the potential to damage the engagement.
